Quite a relaxed day at work… birthday of a coworker, lunch, a few emails and travel arrangements and voilà! A black gay guy (dancer for Elvis show) talked to me in the corridor… actually, he said “helllloooo” with a huge smile and all. Why don’t the hot Russians/Brazilians do that?

Oh talking about Brazilians, a Brazilian acrobat came up to our office selling tickets to a Brazilian event/party… apparently there will also be something in the Jarry parc close to me. I may go check it out for a few minutes but it’s a warm but cloudy Saturday.

Yesterday, as I was getting out of the bus going home, I recogized a guy from primary school. He was getting in the bus so I didn’t have time to talk to him but he was quite sexy: big muscular arms and quite a sex appeal. I think his name is Eric and I remember he was quite friendly with me at Louis-Dupire(?) school… gawd what a memory!

Just decided to go see OVO at the last minute, yesterday (Friday) at 8pm. The big top was pretty full and the show has evolved since last time I’ve seen it. I had a good seat… the very first row but unfortunately, a couple had to be displaced when I arrived. I kinda felt bad but, oh well… here I come.

I’m always amazed at the number of guys who buy into girls’ pants by bringing them to a Cirque show… it’s funny to see them dress up elegant and play romantic lovers. I just know the girl will have to pay back every penny of the ticket… in nature. I really find it lame to treat CDS shows as romantic outings; they’re extremely individualistic, personal and intimate experiences. Besides, what’s romantic about your partner getting a hardon looking at the amazingly thin but sexy contortionist or filling with desire eyeing the hot, muscular Russian acrobat. Am I the only one who would be unfaithful (at least with my thoughts)?

OVO is an even better show now than the first couple of times that I’ve seen it… it’s faster, more dynamic. I spent some time observing Yahia (so cute) and the other familiar faces. The red spider girl smiled to me… did she recognize me? But again, we were so close (she was in the front of the stage and I was leaning forward on my seat, so we could almost touch); it was almost intimidating.

I promissed myself to return a few more times before the end of the Montreal run in mid-July.

Came back from Poland!

All good things come to an end. What a vacation!

I will need to tranfer my thousands of photos and unpack, and then analyze everything and then blog about it. I also started my new position at Cirque du Soleil. Amazing!

Two weeks ago, I was reporting that the new Alegria Fast Track team was being filmed for a short documentary… well, below is the final result. Happy Mother’s Day. Milego Dnia Matki!

It’s fun to see the acrobats that I see, admire, eat and work with in such a different perspective. Didn’t realize so many of them are adorable.
